Rewind Premiered At Tribeca

After six years of grinding to bring my story to the screen, REWIND had its World Premiere at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. Out of over 12,000 submissions, REWIND was one of twelve documentaries selected in the “Documentary Competition” section of the festival.

Walking onto the red carpet with my team and then inviting my family up to join us was a moment that I will never forget. To celebrate both the triumph of bringing my story to the screen, and the triumph of surviving and now thriving after a rough start to my life, I couldn’t have been more proud and more grateful. 

REWIND has since screened internationally at film festivals in Rome, Paris, London, and Toronto. Shortly after our world premiere at Tribeca, we signed our US TV Premiere Deal with Independent Lens. On May 11th, REWIND will have its US TV Premiere  PBS, reaching 280 Million Households nationwide. High fives!
